Snowy Morning

November 2nd, 2006 | News | 0 Comments

Good Morning!  It's a balmy 24F this morning and the snow is falling steadily.  There was about a half inch on the ground before it began again this morning so it will be interesting to see what accummulates today.

Winter begins!

November 1st, 2006 | News | 0 Comments

Hello from Gunflint Lake!  It's November and the winds are blowing and the snow is falling.  It started out as a beautiful day this morning.  Guests got in a quick hike to Magnetic Rock and returned by noon just in time for the snow to start falling.  By the time the school bus dropped off the kids from school the roads were glistening white.  We spent much of the day completing a fall remodeling project, preparing for the upcomming scrapbooking weekend and cleaning up from our local Halloween festivities last night.  The kids had a great night of trick or treating and then a treasure hunt. – The Bakers
