Mid Gunflint Trail Lake Ice Report

The smaller lakes along the Gunflint are now covered with ice. Swamper, Road, Squint Lakes fr0oze-over Tuesday followed by Little Ollie Lake on wednesday. Poplar, the Bearskins and other larger lake as of today are still open but with the colder weather we are now having these lakes should be freezing soon. This morning the temperature was 4 degrees at Poplar Creek Guesthouse B&B. The coldest since last winter.
