Meet at the Gunflint Conference Center for a sneak peak at what's coming to the Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center. Mark your calendars for the Grand Opening on July 4, 2010

3:00 Centennial Trail Hike
Meet at the Centennial Trail Head (Kekekabic Trai Head) and join Steve Robertsen, USFS naturalist, on an interpretive hike. The new 3.3 mile Centennial Trail crosses areas affected by the Ham Lake Fire and planted during Gunflint Green Up 2009. It also follows the route of the PAD & W railroad of the 1890's and the site of the Paulsen Mine. Steve will share his enthusiasm for the woods, history and trains along the way.
