Our shop is nestled along the mid-Gunflint Trail. Stop in and browse. We have something for everyone, specializing in handcrafted gifts made right here at Loon's Nest.

As the sun comes up every morning, you will find Dennis in his workshop. Each day is a new venture and the list is endless. Dennis makes shelves, cribbage boards, signs, birch baskets, birch bird houses, lots of loons, and Christmas décor - just to name a few of the unique items to be found at Loon's Nest. Darlene is busy in her studio with oil paintings on canvas - and sometimes she paints on saw blades, canoe paddles, rocks, or other interesting and unusual surfaces. Something new is added every day, crafted with that little extra touch of Northwoods magic.

Find carved moose, painted moose - or even see a real moose as you drive up the Trail. Looking forward to seeing you at the Loon's Nest!
