In 2007 the McCloughan family bought Bearskin Lodge and moved to the Gunflint Trail.. Bearskin Wilderness Outfitters was born as an excuse to involve further into another passion, canoe camping and wilderness travel. The outfitters is smaller than most, but as such, intended to be able to handle each group more personally, taking extra time to make sure that your route is the right route for you, and that your gear will leave you equipped to enjoy this beautiful area and meet any challenges that may come up during your trip.
