Take a step back in time. Clearwater Canoe Outfitters and Lodge is small by choice, yet offers full-service outfitting for high adventure wilderness trips into Minnesota’s Boundary Waters. Along our wooded peninsula are seven waterfront cabins that are perfect for day trips into the BWCAW, hiking, fishing and more. As the only resort on Clearwater Lake, located halfway down the Gunflint Trail, the views from the dock include spectacular bluffs, falls and crystal-clear waters. The lodge was finished in 1926 by pioneer Charlie Boostrom and is the oldest original whole log structure in northeastern Minnesota.
